Gospel Variety Show to entertain at Rector Community Museum Ford Room

As in two previous Gospel Variety Shows held at the Rector Community Museum (RCM) Ford Room, the organizers expect a packed house. The audience participated in sing-alongs, well-known gospel hymns and songs. Even if the vocalist was performing a solo, he might expect a chorus of so-called back-up singers who could not be silent as one of their favorite numbers, one that meant so much to them was being performed. “It’s that informal,” Joey Pruett, RCM President, said. “Everyone is relaxed and ready to sing-along or sway or come to the front. These shows are based on community request.”
