Rector School District will hold parent/teacher conferences from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28. Par-ents are encouraged to attend to meet with their child’s teacher to check on their progress.
Piggott School Board met in regular session on Monday, Sept. 18 in the administration office with board members Jim Threatt absent and Jennifer Rahn coming in late. All other members were present along with high school principal Misti Lovelace, elementary principal Erica Harris and teachers Stacey Peters and Sandra Little.

1983 Kellie Jones was crowned Football Homecoming Queen at an assembly at the high school Friday morning and reigned over the homecoming game Friday night in which Piggott was victorious over Rector 22-0. She is the daughter of Mr.

Sometimes when we least expect it, there are moments when we long to stroll down memory lane. With the orchestrations for my high school reunion underway, an irresistible urge, perhaps even a necessity, has developed within me—an urge to revisit the abandoned, decrepit and forsaken grounds of my alma mater.
