The Little Rock VA Regional Office’s next Virtual Claims Clinic for Arkansas Veterans is scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 26.
A workshop on “Introduction to Building a Successful Blog” will be held on Saturday, Feb. 11 from 9 a.m. to noon in the educational center of the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center. The cost is $35 per person and space is limited. If wanting to reserve a laptop for the workshop please advise when signing up.
Powhatan Historic State Park will host a cross-stitch workshop from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4. The cost of the workshop is $20 and reservations are required. Those taking part will learn that cross-stitching is not only the oldest form of embroidery, but also one of the easiest to learn. Participants will learn basic stitch techniques, pattern reading, and will stitch one of several historic or modern patterns of their choosing. The registration fee covers the cost of materials but participants are asked to bring a sack lunch. The Greater Eureka Springs Chamber of Commerce Annual Eureka Springs Chocolate Lover’s Festival is one of the most beloved events in the area. This unique festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11 , at the Eureka Springs Community Center.
