On Friday, Dec. 9, a resentencing trial was held in the Craighead County Circuit Court for Aaron Michael Hodge in the 1995 killing of three members of his family in Rector.
Rector School Board met Monday, Dec. 12, at the Administration Building and a quorum was declared by acting chair for the meeting Secretary Kirk Ford. President and vice-president Jody Simmons and Mike Trail were both absent from the meeting. Superintendent Johnny Fowler presented the financial report for November, showing the total fund balance of $5,389,518.48 which includes general operating fund balance, building fund balance, federal programs funds and cafeteria funds.
