The next Second Saturday Art on the Ridge event is set for Nov. 12. First National Bank will be sponsoring the turkey decorating competition and prizes will be awarded as vouchers for area businesses.

The Piggott Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual dinner meeting, and awards ceremony, Tuesday, Oct. 1, at the community center after a three-year absence.
Inaugural Art on the Ridge a huge success
Art on the Ridge reports that the inaugural event on Saturday, Oct. 8, held on the square in Piggott was a success with attendees finding “something for everyone.” Music by Elliot Wade provided a backdrop for the event along with vendors and craft persons who were “pleased with the response and attendance,” according to organizer Sarah Guite, owner of Blue Awning Gallery on the square.
