‘Rector – Always Home’ theme for annual banquet

Rector – Always Home served as the theme for the Rector Chamber of Commerce Banquet held Thursday, April 24, at the Crockett Multi-Purpose Room at the Rector Community Center. With a pitch perfect keynote address, guest of honor Tim Ingram, Clay County Central 1986 graduate, brought together memories and offered insight as to the meaning of “home” for him. As a television and radio professional, he has led a nomadic life by climbing the corporate ladder. Quick to point out that he does not regret the moves to various market locations, he stated, “The heart knows where home is.”

Clay County Election Commission to hold public testing in Corning

The public testing, and logic and accuracy test, for the upcoming May 13 Election in Clay County will be held beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 26. The testing will be conducted at the Corning election ware-house, located at 435 Southwest Second Street in Corning. The testing is open to the public. MCGREW VISITS RHS

Parks Cemetery accepting donations
