RDC to host Main Street May Fest
Rector Downtown Central, affiliated with Main Street Arkansas, and partners with the City of Rector and Rector Area Chamber of Commerce, is hosting Main Street May Fest on May 3 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. in downtown Rector. The May Fest hub will be The Caffeinated Cow, local coffee and ice cream shop.

Route 3 to perform at Bluegrass Monday
Route 3 will perform bluegrass music at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 28, at the Collins Theatre, 120 West Emerson Street, in Paragould. This is part of the Bluegrass Monday concert series presented by KASU 91.9 FM.

A-State Theatre to present ‘Cinderella’
Arkansas State University’s Department of Theatre will conclude the 2024-2025 season with a production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella,” a musical with music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and a new book by Douglas Carter Beane.

Rector School Board approves financial report
Rector School Board met in regular session on Monday, April 14, at 5:30 p.m. at the Administration Building. In addition to the minutes of the regular meeting in March, the board approved the special meeting minutes when on March 20 the board accepted Matt Mill’s resignation as golf coach and hired Tyler Riddle as head girls basketball coach and golf coach as well as high school teacher.
