PACE nominations being accepted

Nominations are being accepted for the Piggott Schools PACE program (Program for Academic and Creative Excellence). Nomination forms may be picked up and returned to the elementary school or high school offices. RES Honor Roll oll

These Rector High School students recently were named to the honor roll for all four weeks of the 2021-2022 school year: Seventh grade: All A’s – Colton Haywood, Adam Holmes, Anna Isom, Landon Palmer, Micaela Ward and Rylee Wilburn. Seventh grade: All A’s and B’s - Briana Johnson, Ben Schimming, Anniston Scott, Camryn Snow and Bailey Vangilder.

CLAY COUNTY CATTLEMEN’S SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT

The Clay County Cattlemen’s Association is proud to announce Carly Robinson of Rector High School as the recipient of this year’s CCCA Scholarship. She plans to attend Black River Technical College to major in Animal Science. Her goal is to obtain her degree and assist in her family cattle operation. As a student, Carly was active in FFA, softball, basketball, Math Club, Science Club and Pep Club. She is the daughter of Dawn Martin and Ward Robinson. Members of the CCA Scholarship Committee presenting the Certificate were Kenny Collier and Sherry Dills. Additional scholarship committee members are Dale Grimes, Randy Anders and Dillan Hartsfield.
