Photography opportunities available at HPMEC

The Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational has announced is an ideal location for photography but to minimize disruptions of visitors’ experience photography sessions are limited to after hours. Museum winter hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Museum director Shannon Williams commented, “We kindly request that you do not relocate benches or porch furniture during photography sessions. Attaching banners or props to the house or barn studio is prohibited, and color bombs, glitter or confetti are not allowed on the premises.” For inquiries, contact the museum at 870598-3487.

AGFC stocks Arkansas roadways with new conservation license plate

The 2025 Arkansas Conservation License Plate was unveiled at a special presentation Wednesday night, Nov. 20 at Ozark Folk Center State Park. The image, a brown trout swimming in prime Arkansas tailwater habitat, is sure to stir emotions in the souls of anglers throughout The Natural State and envy in the eyes of anglers from states lacking the famous coldwater fisheries of Arkansas.

HPMEC hosting photo exhibit

The Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center will be hosting the photographic exhibit entitled The Veneto of Ernest Hemingway: Across the River into the Trees series seven. The exhibit is com-prised of a series of beautiful black and white panels. The exhibit will be on display through December on the second floor of the museum.
