Clay County Quorum Court meets, ordinace passed on remaining ARPA funds
The Clay County Quorum Court met in regular session on Monday, Nov. 18 at the courthouse in Piggott with justices Dennis Haines, Patrick Patterson, David Hatcher, Neal Smith, Jody Henderson, David Cagle and Randy Kingston in attendance.
Christmas Fest set Dec. 7 in Piggott
Plans are underway, as the Piggott Area Chamber of Commerce is scheduled to host their annual Christmas Fest on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Holiday Tour of Homes planned
The traditional Holiday Tour of Homes, sponsored by the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8 beginning at the educational center with refreshments.

HPMEC to host photo exhibit
The Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center will be hosting the photographic exhibit entitled The Veneto of Ernest Hemingway: Across the River into the Trees series seven. The exhibit is comprised of a series of beautiful black and white panels.
Rector Christmas Parade scheduled for Dec. 8
The Rector Christmas Parade, sponsored by the Rector Area Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8.
The Christmas Shoppe slated at Piggott
Local shoppers are encouraged to take part in The Christmas Shoppe which is planned from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Piggott Community Cen-ter. The center is located at 161 E. Pfeiffer Street.
