Powhatan Historic State Park will host “Ghost Walks” tours Friday, Oct. 18 and Saturday, Oct. 19 at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. each night. Park interpreters will take guests on guided tours, highlighting the many ghost sto-ries, folk tales, and legends about the park in its 200-year history. The cost for the guided tour is $6 plus tax per adult and $4 plus tax per person for children ages 12 and under. Space is limited and registration is required. The Rector Area Chamber of Commerce will host their annual membership meeting from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15 at the Rector Community Center. Lunch will be catered by Traveling Wisk and will include lasagna, salad, breadsticks and desserts for a cost of $15 per person the day of the meeting.
