Bevil wins fourth place at FBLA National Leadership Conference
The Piggott School Board met on Tuesday, July 8 in regular session with board members Fallon Winscott Boshoff, Jacob Richardson, Tim Boyd and Rob Chandler present. Board member Kristin Crittenden was absent.
Popular demand will bring to the Ford Room on Friday, July 18 an entertaining event - Dinner and a Show. Pond raised, USAcatfish with all the trimmings will be the menu. Seating will be for conversation and dining and the show will be a hit, based on knowledge of the artists performing. The dinner will be served at 6 p.m. with the show following at 7 p.m.
Jaycee McMillian crowned Miss Piggott 2025
Registrations are still being accepted for the Pollard Beauty Contests, being held in conjunction with this week’s annual picnic. The 2025 Pollard Picnic will be held Saturday, July 12, at Pollard and will benefit the continued upkeep of the New Hope Cemetery. In keeping with tradition, fried chicken dinners, music, softball games, games for children and beauty pageants will highlight the picnic. Recently, the organizers announced the following schedule.

The Piggott Cemetery Association has announced this year’s Grand Marshal and awarded the honor to Jim Poole. He has worn many hats around Piggott as a businessman and he is also quite the historian.
