Carol Ann Cox Carol Ann Cox of Kennett, Mo., passed away on January 30, 2023 at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell, Mo., of complications from pneumonia. Carol was born February 25, 1957 in Piggott, Ark.

Alla Jean Priest Alla Jean Priest, 91, of Marmaduke, Ark., passed away at home with her family on January 21, 2023. Alla Jean was born October 2, 1931, in Cave City to the late Bonnie and Roena Lewallen.

Martha Jo-Ann Redd Martha Jo-Ann Redd passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones who will always cherish their memories of her. She was 83 years old.

C.W. Comrade Warrington “C.W.” Knauts, 87, of Piggott, Ark., passed away January 11, 2023, at General Baptist Nursing Home in Piggott.

Larry Henderson Essman, 81 of Rector, peacefully passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023, at his home in Rector after a two-and-ahalf- year battle with cancer. Larry was born May 6, 1941 to the late William and Lucy (Huckabay) Essman. He was a graduate of Rector High School. He was a lifelong resident of Rector. He and his wife Betty (Randleman) recently celebrated 60 years of marriage He is survived by his wife Betty, son Danny Essman of Rector, a granddaughter Kaitlyn Essman Sitz (Jackson) of Jonesboro and numerous relatives and friends.

Annie Francis Shaw, 74 of Rector, passed away on January 13, 2023. Annie was born to the late Brice and Beulah (Hanners) Johnson in Rector, Ark.

Sadie Morgan Sadie Morgan, 88, of Piggott, Ark., passed away January 4, 2023, at Belle Meade in Paragould, Ark. She was born on June 10, 1934, in Syracuse, New York, and was the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Bordino) Triglia.

Kristy Lee Phillips Kristy Lee Phillips, 52 of Piggott, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo. Kristy, daughter of Vernon and Pat Permenter Wilson, was born on Friday, June 19, 1970 in Piggott.

Sherry Lee Stinebrook Sherry Lee Stinebrook, 78, of Piggott, Ark., passed away December 30, 2022, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

William Randall Duty William Randall Duty, 67 of Greenway, passed away at his home on December 30, 2022. William was born to the late Joe Duty and Darlene (Pettigrew) Henderson in Potosi, Missouri.
