The Arkansas Code of Regulations saw more than 150 changes during the 2024 regulations process, which took place from March through July to help manage Arkansas’s game and nongame wildlife. While most of the changes were simple clarifications and tweaks to existing hunting and fishing regulations, a few major changes rewrote some of the ways in which hunters can harvest game in The Natural State.

Smith participates in Kid’s Golf World Championship Tournament

Jett Smith of Marmaduke, seven-year old son of Trent and Kelsey Smith, participated in the 2024 U.S. Kid’s Golf World Championship tournament last week at Pinehurst, N.C. Jett’s age division played on one of the toughest courses in the tournament. Being a part of the event affirmed that he is one of the Top 100 sevenyear old golfers in the world. The golfers played in the driving rain on the first day of the event, but “everyone was too excited to care too much,” shared Jett’s mother Kelsey.
