Rector Cougar baseball and softball suffer same day losses
Every ball field at Jeremy McDaniel Memorial Sports Complex was filled. Little t-ball teams, coach-pitch ball players along with their moms, dads, grandparents, siblings, and friends filled the stands. Other fans set up lawn chairs and playpens for the babies. Cheers, applause, mom’s yelling “run!” and coaches hollering above the fray to give instructions on base running and where to throw the ball played louder than any cheers on the high school Cougar and Lady Cougar fields.

Mohawk baseball off to slow start
Baseball season has definitely been a rainy season this year, as a few games were canceled or postponed due to wet conditions. The Mohawks started off slow in March losing to Gosnell and Corning and Osceola forfeiting the game on March 14. The game against Rector was cancelled on March 24 and the Tribe lost to Manila on March 27.
