LITTLE ROCK — Nearly 100,000 acres of private land has been positively influenced for wildlife and fisheries habitat conservation in the last year, thanks in part to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s Conservation Incentive Program. AGFC commissioners heard a robust presentation about the makeup of the program and its incredible results during Thursday’s regularly scheduled meeting at the agency headquarters.

LITTLE ROCK â The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will open the application window for 2025 Wildlife Management Area Turkey Hunt Permits Jan. 15Feb. 15. These permits are required to hunt on a few WMAs that present some of the best public hunting available in the state.
To avoid weather related cancellations, Rector Cougars hosted a four-game night on Wednesday, Jan. 8, featuring all teams, girls and boys, against the Cross County Thunderbirds. The boys teams found themselves playing on back to back nights, having just defeated the BIC Mustangs on Tuesday night.
