Going to trade school after high school to be an electrician is the future plans of Adam Fuller.

His favorite memory is when the bus almost left him before an away game.Adam is the son of Kim and Curtis Fuller. He was in FBLA his eighth grade year. He played basketball for eight years, baseball for two years and was in track for five. He would like to be remembered as the guy who made everyone laugh.

Graduation is steeped in tradition. Come the day of graduation, many gradsto- be might be focusing on receiving their diplomas and then celebrating after the ceremony. The hard work students put in affords them every right to celebrate once they're officially anointed as new grads, but before the party begins it can be fun to reflect on the many traditions associated with graduation ceremonies.

Lexey Stone,

daughter of Janina and Adam Dutka, plans to marry her sweetheart, start a family and go to college to become a veterinarian. She was in the FBLA all throughout high school, Beta (10th – 12th), and in the art club her sophomore year. Staying until 12 a.m. to do scarecrows and eating the scarecrow hay, while lying on the sidewalk at 11:30 at night is her favorite memory. Lexey would like to be remembered as the kid who slept through every class but still pulled good grades.

Landon Haywood

is the son of Chris and Shannon Haywood. His future plans include attending Ole Miss and obtaining his pharmacist degree. Landon played basketball and baseball. He was in FBLA, Fellowship of Christian Students, HOSA, math club, science club, GT, pep club, Cougars are BAD and ACE Youth Leadership. He volunteered at the Rector Food Pantry, Rector Hoop Camp, Student Council food drive and 4-H Leadership program. His honors and awards include: admission into the Early Entry Pharmacy Program at the University of Mississippi, all A honor roll ninth -12th, Arkansas Scholastic honor student, Arkansas Boys State delegate, National Honor Society member ninth – 12th grade, Rector High School Student of the Month and Jr. High Best All Around. His favorite school memory is when he and 12 other classmates “borrowed” Mr. Haynes car to run errands in it. Landon would like to be remembered as someone who was hardworking, kind to others, easy to get along with and a good friend. Most importantly, he wants to be remembered as someone who gave God the glory in all that he does and to make Rector proud.

Carter Joseph Pence

is the son of Sandy and Joseph Pence. His future plans include attending BRTC for two years for his basics, then transferring to Arkansas State University to finish out my Bachelors in a computer science field. Carter has been a part of the National Honor Society for many years. He has received straight A’s his entire school career and also maintained a 4.0 GPA while doing so. He was in the science and math club. He is also a part of the Esports team in Rector playing for Rocket League. He is a part of the FBLA where he placed to go to state in many competitions. He has volunteered at the Rector Food Pantry. His favorite school memory is in third grade, playing dodge ball. It seemed almost like every day, probably one of the most fun grades. Carter would like to be remembered as someone who never gave up. He doesn’t care what people think about him. He just knows he will succeed.

Karissa Marie Samples

would like to be remembered as someone who was kind and helpful. She is the daughter of Barbara Turner and Barry Scott Turner. Her future plans include working at the preschool. She loves working with kids. It’s not what she has always wanted to do, but going to the preschool Tuesdays – Thursdays, it kind of just clicked. She was in band for one year, is in art club and she volunteers at the Rector Preschool., Karissa was on the AB honor roll, in the Renaissance program and received her Preschool certificate. Her favorite school memory is when there were waspers in Mrs. Chelsea’s class and Sam killed them. It was probably the funniest and best day and very chaotic.

Jake Smart

plans to attend tech school to master a trade, and eventually own his own business. Jake is the son of Shannon and Julie Smart. Jake was in FFA and would like to be remembered as the Jack of all trades. His favorite memory is bringing fart spray to school for two weeks before anyone knew he was the one that had it and what it was.

Abbey Beck

is the daughter of Angela Stokes and Jeff Beck. Her future plans include going to AState and getting a nursing degree (BSN). She was in the pep club, science club, National Honor Society, G.T. and ACE Leadership. She was on the honor roll and in the Renaissance program. Her favorite school memory is all of the homecomings where the school gathered together and felt like a family. Abbey would like to be remembered as a friendly face that was there for anyone.
