Being tossed around in the back of Kolton Boyd’s truck is the favorite school memory of Brian Wesseling.

He is the son of Bradon Wesseling and Jessica Miller. His future plans include attending BRTC to achieve an associate’s degree in general studies. Brian was a member of RHS E-sports. He was on the honor roll, in the Renaissance program, received Platinum Work Keys certificate and had anACT composite of 25. Brian would like people to remember him fondly, but very little!

Getting to go to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis Indiana is the favorite school memory of

Andrew Romine. His future plans include attending Northeast Mississippi Community College to become a John Deere ag tech. Andrew was in band, FFAand science club. He was on the trap team and was in Renaissance. He would like to be remembered as the best welder ever. Andrew is the son of David and Kim Romine.

Tyler Smith,

the son of Amanda Webb and the late Bryce Webb, and Steve Smith, plans to go to BRTC to become an electrician, get a good job and make a lot of money. Tyler was a member of the Mohawk Brotherhood Football and his favorite memory is when Noah ran him over in his car. He’d like to be remembered by the fact that he graduated.

Austin Vaughn

is the son of Arlyn and Darla Vaughn. His future plans are to study law enforcement before going to the police academy. He plans to settle down after a few years and start a family. Austin played football all through high school and was in FFA for four years. Singing to Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber on the bus after a track meet is his favorite school memory. Having the cleanest Ranger in the lot is how he wants to be remembered.

Evan Holmes’

future plans include attending the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and majoring in civil engineering. He is the son of Chad and Christin Holmes. Evan has volunteered 40 hours at C2SI (Catholic Charities Summer Institute), 20 hours at SOS (St. Mary’s Catholic Church Suppers on Sundays), 60 hours with 4-H Tech Changemakers, 10 hours at the Rector Food Pantry, four hours of community clean up, four hours with Make-AWish and six hours at the Rector Public Library. He played baseball (ninth – 12th grade) and football (11th – 12th). He was a member of the band (ninth -12th), FBLA (ninth – 12th), science club (ninth – 12th), math club (ninth – 12th), Cougars Are Bad (ninth – 12th), chess team (ninth – 12th), FFA (ninth – 12th), ACE Youth Leadership (10th – 12th), a student council member (ninth – 12th), 4-H Tech Changemakers (11th – 12th) and St. Mary’s Catholic Church youth group (ninth – 12th). His honors and awards include: National Honor Society (ninth – 12th) where he was vice president in 2022 and 2023, all A honor roll (ninth – 12th), placed second at District with FBLA in Introduction to Business Math in 2019, placed third in district with FBLA in Agribusiness in 2021, placed second in District with FBLA in Advertising in 2022, he was senior high FBLA president, Region V junior high first band third chair in 2019, Region V junior high first band seventh chair in 2020, A-State Open Outstanding Soloist award in 2019 and 2020, science club vice president in 2023, Cougars R Bad president in 2022 and 2023, American Legion Arkansas Boys state delegate, Clay County 4-H Youth Leadership team and Gifted and Talented. His favorite school memory is playing Wii sports in Mr. Haynes class. Evan would like to be remembered as always having something to keep him busy.

Kaley Isom.

She is the daughter of Sam and Mandy Isom. Her favorite school memory is locking Mr. Haynes out of his classroom her freshman year. Finally deciding to let him back in but throwing tennis balls at him with the code work “purple”, then him buying purple glasses and still wearing them years later. Kaley played basketball and softball. She is a member of the National Honor Society, student council, GT, FBLA, HOSA, ACE Youth Leadership, Fellowship of Christian Students, science club, math club and Cougars are Bad. She was on the honor roll, voted Best All Around in junior high and was a Girls State competitor. Kaley would like to be remembered as someone who was king, always had a smile on their face, worked hard and was dependable.

Learning how to work on transmissions and one day opening his own shop are the future plans of Tyler McCord.

He is the son of Jennifer McCord and Jarrod McCord. Tyler was on the trap team, in FFAand science club. He was vice president of FFA his senior year and treasurer of FFA his junior year. He received Silver Work Keys certification, BQA certification, the star chapter award in FFA. He was also on the honor roll and in the Renaissance program. His favorite school memories are the last week of school, they would always play ping-pong in the shop all day every day. Tyler just wants to be remembered as good ole McCord.

Dixie Book

would like to be remembered for being authentic during her years at Piggott School. The daughter of Patrick Book and Amber Noles, she plans to attend ASU for a major in plant and crop sciences. Dixie was a member of FFA, FCCLAand Beta during her four years of high school. She was also in FBLA from her sophomore year through senior year. Her favorite school memory is attending national conferences with FFA and FBLA.

Kailey Storm Robertson,

daughter of Rebecca Robertson, is unsure of her plans after graduating. Her favorite school memory is drawing and acting out characters with Ashton. She also loved spending time in class with her friends, especially playing Farkle in Mrs. Swann’s class and playing UNO during social time. She participated in bowling, basketball and track (ninth – 11th). Being remembered as a good friend is important to Kailey as her friends are very important to her. She would also like to be remembered as a sweet and caring student who wanted to make sure everybody was alright.
