Eudean Shrum Engle

Eudean Shrum Engle, born September 25, 1940, passed from this earth on June 16, 2022.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Pickney Shrum and Faye Shrum Fiffe; one daughter, Kim Engle Johnson and one grandson, Alex Landon Engle.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, James Engle of Paragould, Ark.; sons: Greg and Melissa Engle of Piggott, and David and Beth Engle of Memphis, Tenn.; grandson Kevin Mann and wife Kim of Paragould; grandson, Brandon Mann and wife Rachel of Little Rock, Ark.; granddaughter Jordan Engle of Brookland, Ark.; grandson, Austin Engle and wife Taylor of Piggott; grandsons, Richard and Charlie Engle of Memphis, Tenn.; five great-grandchildren: Addison, Miles, Emmie, Camille, and Tatum.
She was a very artistic person. She had a lot of hobbies over the years. She liked to garden, flower arranging, photography and traveling.
Most importantly she was a Christian first. She worshipped at the Village Creek Church of Christ in Paragould. She taught family and friends by her example of what it meant to be a Christian. She was a kind, loving and generous person and would help family and friends any way she could. She always put God and others before herself.
Visitation was held from 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, with funeral service immediately following at 2 p.m. with Bro. Shawn Sullivan officiating. Burial was held in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott. Pallbearers were Kevin Mann, Brandon Mann, Austin Engle, Richard Engle, Stew Dehls, and Mike Morgan. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
