Piggott State Bank was the site of a $1,000 scholarship presentation on Friday, Aug. 19, as this year’s recipients of the Gaylon Lawrence Memorial Scholarship were recognized. The scholarships are given each year to a Piggott High School graduate in memory of the late owner of PSB, and are distributed by the Community Sharing Hearts Foundation, Inc. One of this year’s recipients was Rocio Garcia, who will attend ASU.
