Piggott Girl Scout Troop #3011 members Claire McKenney (right) and Thyme Parrish recently received the Girl Scout Silver Award. The girls worked extremely hard to build, get approval, advertise, and place a free library box at Heritage Park in Piggott. The girls noted the books are available for children and adults and noted you may take one or leave one. “A mother might wish she had a book to read at the park while her kids play or a kid might need a break in the shade and would like a book read to them,” the girls commented.
