Erin Kerley Matthews from Black River Technical College was the guest speaker at Rector High School on Wednesday, Sept. 11. She spoke with a very interested group of students and shared information about the three BRTC locations and programs available at each.She encouraged students to“job shadow and go on some campus tours”to help students make decisions on post-secondary schools and careers.Students were surprised to learn that BRTC is the only gunsmithing school in the state of Arkansas.“Mrs. Erin is always very enthusiastic about coming to RHS and is a wonderful resource for our students,”comment Kathy Fowler, RHS Career Coach.
