A longtime local business got a new name, and sign, 50 years ago this summer as Clay County Equipment Company became Haywood Motors.The change came as the local dealership added Dodge trucks to their line of Chrysler Corporation cars, a line which included the new Cordoba (second from the left) which premiered in the 1975 model year.(File photo)
