This week’s photo was already fairly old when it was featured in this week’s 1992 newspaper. It shows three local barbers in the old west side shop, located on the southwest corner of the Piggott square.The three included, from left: Jimmy Burlison, Lou Harris and Claude Montgomery. Others who worked in the shop were Aubrey Crews and Ben Joiner. This photo was submitted back in the day by Twyla Baker, who was Claude Montgomery’s sister if memory serves correctly.(file photo)
