James Howard Goodman

James Howard Goodman, 85, of Beebe, Ark., passed away June 13, 2023, at his home in Beebe.

He was born on July 29, 1937, in Piggott, Ark., and was the son of the late Paul and Fleeta (Crowson) Goodman.

James was united in marriage to Ola (Richards) Goodman on February 1, 2013.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Fleeta Goodman; two sisters, Rita Mae Harbor and Cleda Ray Haley.

James is survived by his wife, Ola Goodman; three daughters, Paula Reusch of Patterson, Mo., Debbie Goodman of Destin, Fla., and Teresa Chandler of Kennett, Mo.; five grandchildren, April Holloway, Tesha Greene, Nicole Jackson, Ben Jackson, and Tiara Bennett; numerous greatgrandchildren; brother, Dean Goodman of St. Louis, Mo.; sister, Erma Rene McGinnis; sister-in-law, Tannie Hash; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services were held at 1 p.m., Friday, June 16, 2023, at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, with Kenny Burns officiating. Burial was in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Ark. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements. Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 15, in Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott.
