Jerry Wayne Adams, age 74, of Rector, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. Jerry was born on October 26, 1948, to the late Earl Adams and Rosalie (Taylor) Adams.

Jerry was a Master Chief in the United States Navy, where he served for over 23 years, including time in Vietnam. He was a devoted member of Rock Springs United Methodist Church. He loved to watch football and was an avid fan of NASCAR. In his free time, he loved being outdoors, and going fishing. More than anything he loved his family and enjoyed the time they got to spend together. He will be dearly missed by everyone that knew and loved him.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Glenn Adams.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Nina Adams, of the home; children: Todd (Christy) Adams, Jared (Sara) Adams, Melissa Adams and Pamala (Jimmy) Mcphink; sister, Bonnie Murray; grandchildren: Charity Pinder, Marshall Mcphink, Brandon Adams, Zachary Mcphink, Layne Tucker, Hunter Tucker, and Conard Adams; great-grandchildren: Jadyn Williams, Noah Williams, Gavan Alphin, Michael Mcphink, Luna Alphin-Mcphink, Theodore Alphin-Mcphink, Brayla Adams, Brooklyn Adams, and Scarlett Adams; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held at 12 p.m. on Monday, October 30, 2023, at Mitchell Funeral Home in Paragould with Larry Ring officiating. The family received friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial followed at Rock Springs Cemetery in Knob, Ark. under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home.
