Larry Dean Grider

Larry Dean Grider, Sr. 81, of Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away May 28, 2025, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri.
He was born on June 26, 1943, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the son of the late Lester and Eloice (Gribble) Grider.
Larry was born and raised in Pollard, Arkansas and graduated from Piggott High School. He moved to St. Louis in 1964 where he resided until he peacefully passed. Larry loved being with his family every chance he could. He loved to be outdoors especially when he was able to fish or hunt. He loved car races whether he was watching on television or got to attend in person. He loved to play games, Rook, Dominoes, Poker, and always ready to challenge someone at a game of Sequence.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerry Grider Larry is survived by his children, Larry Dean (Dawn) Grider, Jr. of Liberty, Missouri, and Cynthia (Tim) Goertz of Saint Louis, Missouri; grandchildren: Mackenzie Sabourin, Nicole (Tommy) Coleman, Jacob Winfrey, Samuel Grider, and Kristin Grider; sister, Erma (Ronnie) Neeley of Piggott, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 2 p.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Cletus Gribble officiating. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas. Pallbearers were Gary Grider, Keith Grider, Tim Neeley, Mackenzie Sabourin, Tommy Coleman, and Jacob Winfrey. Samuel Grider served as honorary pallbearer.
Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, was in charge of the arrangements.
