Lillie Earline Robinson

Lillie Earline Robinson, known affectionately as Earline to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2024, in Rector, Ark. Born on February 10, 1943, in Doniphan, Mo., Earline was a beacon of love and strength throughout her 81 years of life.

Earline was the cherished daughter of the late Earl and Jewel (Parrish) Gotthardht. She was a loving wife to her late husband, Reuben Ray Robinson, and a nurturing mother to her daughters, Lisa and Glen Pratt, and Michelle and Greg Ward. Her life was touched by sorrow with the loss of her son, Kevin Ray Robinson, but she remained a pillar of resilience and grace. Earline’s legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren, Stephen Scott, Brittany and James Hemphill, Lindsey and Brent Kopiness, and Alex Ward, as well as her treasured greatgreat- grandchildren, Lane, Brody and Josie Rae Hemphill, Brayden, Emily, Lucy, and William Kopiness.

Earline’s family circle included her caring sister Betty Gross; brother and sister-inlaw, Clay and Annabelle Robinson; her sister-in-law, Phyllis and brother-in-law Clarence Rhynes and her brother-in-law Dwight Vangilder. brother, Wayne Gotthardt, and her son-in-law, David Shelton.

Throughout her life, Earline dedicated herself to caring for others as a caregiver, a role that she embraced with compassion and warmth. Her interests were a reflection of her loving nature; she found joy in sewing, cooking, decorating, painting, and crafting.

Earline was a woman of remarkable courage and wisdom. She faced life’s challenges with unwavering strength and was an inspiration to all who knew her. Her love for her family, especially her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, was boundless, and she will be remembered as a guiding light in their lives.

Visitation was held Monday, July 8, 2024 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Irby-Mitchell Funeral Home. A graveside service began at 11 a.m. at the Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.
