Loyd Don McNeely of Piggott, Ark., born April 4, 1953, to James and Faye McNeely, passed away February 17, 2023, peacefully at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Ark.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Debby Harrell McNeely, of 48 years, his parents, and his sister, Janet Kriner.

He is survived by his two children, Misty (Marcus) Hayse of Jonesboro, Ark., and Will (Jennifer) McNeely of Russellville, Ark., and his sister, Carol (Robert) Rhein of Jonesboro, Ark.

He is blessed with three grandchildren, Ashytn (Brandon) Burdin, Luke and River McNeely; two great grandchildren, Harlie and Brantley Burdin; along with a host of friends and family. He is dearly loved and will be missed greatly.

Don enjoyed farming and going to auctions. He loved watching westerns and shows about history. If the wheels were rolling, they were going. Don and Deb loved traveling together.

Visitation was held from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2023, at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, with funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. with Bro. Charles Carrens officiating and Bro. Kevin Simmons assisting. Burial followed in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Ark. Pallbearers were Wade Smart, G.W. Howell, Gary French, Mark Williams, Jim Threatt, and David Hill. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, or New Hope Cemetery in Pollard.
