Margery loved being with her family in California but always made it a known fact that she missed her home in Arkansas terribly. She worked at the Brown shoe Company in Piggott for many years and still tried to keep in touch with the friends she made over the years. Margery was a great seamstress and later in life she loved to quilt. She would go to quilting retreats with her sister Louise and made many close friends. All she ever talked about was missing her dear friends in her quilting group who met on Tuesday, they were her joy. When she would hear from any of the group, she would light up the sky. Thank you to all of you for giving her so much joy. Margery will be missed by all that knew her but we believe she now is at peace, probably quilting in Heaven.
There will be a memorial service in Piggott and burial at Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway to be announced in the Clay County Times-Democrat at a later date.
