Mattie McClung would like to be remembered as someone younger kids look up to. She is the daughter of Josh and Brittany Milam and Matt McClung. Her future plans include attending Arkansas Northeastern College at Blytheville to obtain her RN license and become pediatrician. Mattie played basketball, golf was a cheerleader and on the track team. She was in 4H, pep club, ACE Leadership, science club, Cougars R Bad, yearbook and HOSA. Her honors and awards include honor roll, National Honor Society, junior student council representative, AP concurrent student, program completer – CTE Health Professions, Heartsaver First Aid certified, CPR certified, completed certified nursing assistant coursework and earned a silver level career readiness certificate. Mattie’s favorite school memories are activities before events such as homecoming, prom or state send offs.
