Pamela D. Reed Stallings

Pamela D. Reed Stallings, 71 of Dumas, Ark., passed into God’s hands on the 10th day of October 10, 2023, in McGehee,Ark. Pam was born on March 9, 1952. She was premature a little over 3 pounds, no hair, no fingernails, or toenails. Doctors advised using a thermostat- controlled heater. Her bed was a dresser drawer. But her heart was as big as the outdoors she loved. She loved to see all animals and birds. Seeing a red bird in the morning is like seeing a loved one. She fussed about squirrels in the garden and when I (Terry) shot one she cried. Pam wished to be forgiven for when she hurt family and friends the good Lord knows how quick she was to forgive and go on with life.

Her parents Junior William Reed and Betty Mae Clark Reed preceded Pam in death.

Pam was Baptist by faith and attended the First Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Pamela was a former employee at Sunbeam, Myers Drive Inn, and Mad Butcher.

Pam loved her family, she thought her sisters hung the moon, her children Tobey and Tony were her pride and joy. But her grandchildren are really GRAND, she got to spoil them and loved every one of them, then they went home. Great grands kids put a new meaning into great she marveled at how little they are and smart and fast. She had a great sense of humor and will be missed and always loved by her family. To Pam, We Love You.

Survivors are her husband Terry Stallings of Dumas, Ark.; one son Tony Reed Stallings of Boydsville, Ark., and one daughter Tobey LaNell Burns of Piggott, Ark.; two sisters, Sherry Lynn Mathews of Batesville, Ark., and Tina Renee Kelley of Missouri; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
