Peggy Lucille McElmeel passed away on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at the age of 76 years in Omaha, Nebraska. She was born August 8, 1944 in Piggott, Ark.

Peggy was preceded in death by her father Everett McKenzie; brother Ralph McKenzie; and sister Frances Abrego.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 55 years Patrick; sons Charlie and Andy (Lindsay); grandchildren: Andrew John, Sean, Ryan, and Molly; sister Scarlett (Marty) Siebol and her children Alex and Calvin; brother Skip McKenzie; nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Visitation was held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2023, at Bethany Funeral Home in La Vista, Nebraska. Mass of Christian burial was held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 24 at St. Gerald Lakeview Chapel, Ralston, Nebraska.
