Rector Preschool enjoyed the cool weather Wednesday morning Sept. 13, as they walked to the Rector Public Library.Over 60 children were in attendance for Mrs.Monica’s Storytime. “We started off with some kid yoga. They were much better at bending over and touching their toes than I was,”commented Children’s Director Monica Mihalek. The children enjoyed listening to Mrs. Monica read ‘The Bear Ate Your Sandwich’, ‘Bear Couldn’t Sleep’ and ‘Bear Sees Colors’. Storytime ended with the children doing finger songs and singing ‘If You’re Happy and You Know It Clap Your Hands’.“I love when we have programs here at the library. I think the hugs and high fives are my favorite part of what I do,”concluded Mihalek.(Courtesy photo)
