Rector Elementary LEGO Team competed in the Regional Qualifying Tournament Saturday, Dec. 3 at Searcy.The team will now advance to the state tournament to be held Jan. 20-22 at the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville. Over 20 teams competed at the regionals with only nine teams qualifying for state.This will be the eighth straight year the LEGO team has qualified to compete at state. Team members include Addie Younger, Layla Crawford, Stetson Stanley, Chloe Steele, Jaylee Hollis, Monica Wegner, Raleigh Scott, Beckett Mabrey, and Maci Brown.The team is coached by Lance Mabrey, Mackenzie Wolverton, and Madison May.
