Rector competed in its first track meet in over a decade Tuesday, March 5, as the junior high team traveled to Pocahontas for a practice meet. Coach Shea McCain reinstated the track program at RHS and is creating excitement amongst the student athletes. The junior team more than held their own against six area 3A and 4A schools. Several won individual events and placed in the top three of many more. Top performer was Briana Johnson who won the high jump, long jump, and the 100 yard dash. (Courtesy photo)
