On Friday, April 14, the Rector LEGO team competed at the Project Fair at the Northeast Arkansas Educational Cooperative. For their efforts, the team won first place and also first place for Planning, Organization, and Research.“Their project focused on creating a switch/ outlet combination that would allow for electrical power to be cut off to certain gadgets plugged in around the house with the flip of a switch. This way, a house could cut down on phantom power. This would save money and help the environment,”commented Coach Lance Mabrey. Team members include Chloe Steele, Beckett Mabrey, Stetson Stanley, Maci Brown, Monica Wegner, Raleigh Scott, Layla Crawford, Addie Younger, and Jaylee Hollis. (Courtesy photo)
