On Monday, October 17, Rector Junior High competed in a chess competition in Walnut Ridge and the Northeast Arkansas Educational Cooperative. The team had a good showing, with everyone earning multiple points on the day. Braeden Brummel and Annie Sisneros received trophies for their outstanding play.
