RHS had a large group of students in attendance for a presentation offered by Legacy Equipment Wednesday, Jan. 11. Representatives shared information about the Ag Tech Internship Program and other careers offered by Legacy Equipment. “Students may begin the AG Tech Program as sophomores, working after school and throughout the summer, which will allow them to decide if that’s what they really want to do.”explained Whit Watson, Director of Service. “This field isn’t going anywhere. Everything is on a computer and always changing, and we are right in the middle of it.”added Matt Wright, Precision Ag Manager. “If you enjoy taking things apart and putting them back together and are interested in agriculture, this is a good program to consider.” stated Tiffany (Kirklin) Henson, Director of Marketing.”Students were excited to learn that Legacy will help pay for schooling and provide experience with a master technician while attending school. Career coach Kathy Fowler commented,“This was a wonderful session for our students with several indicating interest in the program! We are grateful for the visit and especially happy to have RHS 2006 graduate, Tiffany (Kirklin) Henson, back on campus!!”
