Rector Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting Friday, Aug. 9 at Clay County Connect housed at Clay County Electric Cooperative Electric on Highway 49 with a brief time of conversation and a reception. The City of Rector has worked to bring reliable internet service to its residents over the past several years, thus the Chamber was especially pleased to host the ribbon cutting.“Doing business or establishing a residence with reliable connectivity is critical to a healthy city,regardless of population,” said Chamber president Mark Manchester, Mayor Shawn Brandon, and Crystal Williams, director of Chamber of Commerce.
