Robert Joe Howard, 79, of Piggott, passed away on March 6, 2023, at the Rector Nursing and Rehab. He was born to the late Ambrose and Emma (Keller) Howard in East St. Louis, Ill.

He was a farmer, hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors.

Robert is survived by his wife: Susan (Peters) Howard of Piggott; children: Betty Jo Taylor of Washington, Susan Potter of Piggott, Rosey Belle Guffey of Washington, Larry Allen Chandler of Hannibel, Mo. and Cheryl Eillen Chandler of Piggott; a brother William Howard of Piggott, and lots of grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A graveside service was held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 10 at the Hartsoe Cemetery in Marmaduke.
