Rosa “Lee” Husher

Rosa “Lee” Husher, 92, of Rector, Ark., passed away Thursday, April 11, 2024, at BrightMoor Hospice in Griffin, Ga., with family by her side. Lee was born March 10, 1932, in Matthews, Mo. She was married to George Husher and was a painter.
She lived in Marmaduke, Ark., prior to moving to Rector. In December of 2020, she went to live with her daughter in Georgia, to be closer to her growing family. During the time she was in Georgia, she had the joy of watching her three greatgrandchildren grow up daily.
Lee was preceded in death by her parents, Norvell and Flora Harden; her husband, George Husher and her half sister, Thelma (Adell) Cox.
She is survived by her daughter Debbie (Robert) McCord of Senoia, Ga.; two granddaughters: Amanda (Drew) Young of Concord, Ga., and Rebecca (Eric) Swaney of Senoia, Ga. She is also survived by three greatgrandchildren who she loved dearly: Clara Young (three), Norah Young (one), and Colton Swaney (two).
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Ken Price officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home in Rector.
