Sandra Jean Mays, 71, of Rector, Ark., passed from the cares of this life to forever be with Jesus on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, Ark.

She was born on October 20, 1950, in Rector to the late Vernon and Hazel Collier Mays. Sandra was a much loved and dedicated member of the Rector First Methodist Church where she was active in the United Methodist Women and served on numerous committees. Sandra was a caregiver at Chateau on the Ridge in Paragould and retired from Rector Sportswear.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services were held at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2022, at the Rector First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jacob Lynn officiating. Visitation was held from 12 p.m. until service time at the church.
