Shirley Mae King, 81 of Paragould, passed from the cares of this life surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday December 20, 2023, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center.

She was born on September 29, 1942 in Greene County to the late Floyd Franklin and Lilly Melvina Brewer Rogers. Shirley was a member of Griffin Memorial Methodist Church and in her spare time enjoyed watching TV, and spending time with her family and friends. She was an excellent interior decorator having worked at Brandon House Furniture in Hot Springs, Ark., for many years.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother: Jim Rogers.

She is survived by her loving siblings: Jerry Don Rogers of Paragould, Gaylon (Jan) Rogers of Paragould, Randel (Marcia) Rogers of Paragould, Dewayne (Kathy) Rogers of Paragould, Andy Rogers of Paragould, Carolyn Wyatt of Marmaduke, Barbara Jones of Marmaduke, and Judy Rasberry Dowdy (Keith) of Paragould; along with a host of special nieces, nephews; other relatives and numerous friends.

A memorial graveside service was held at 2 p.m. on Thursday December 28, 2023, at Woodland Heights Cemetery with Bro. Kim Bridges officiating.
