Twana Colvin, 72 of Rector, Ark., passed from this earth on September 11, 2022 at her home. She was born in Winfield, Ala., to the late William and Emma Jean (Fowler) Mayfield. She loved gardening, reading, crafting, collecting antiques, decorating and spending time with her adoring family. She was a great mom who loved her children and grandchildren fiercely.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, John Scott Colvin.

She is survived by her brothers: Edward (Karen) Mayfield of Jacksonville, Fla., and Paul Mayfield of McKinney Fla.; her loving sons: Sean (Diana) Colvin of Houston, Tex., Christopher (Rebecca) Colvin of Rector, Michael (Tammy) Colvin of Lewisville, Tex., and Matthew Colvin of Rector; her grandchildren: Taylor McGinnis, Erryl Colvin, Gregory Colvin, Noah Colvin, Joshua Colvin, Kyleen Balliet, Michael Nicholaus, great-grandchildren: Ellee McGinnis, Olivia McGinnis, John Chris McGinnis, Bria McGinnis, Raegan McGinnis and Judah McGinnis.

Visitation was held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2022, at the Irby-Mitchell Funeral Home in Rector with the service beginning at 2 p.m. Interment was at the Woodland Heights Cemetery.
