Jeremiah Humphrey from the United Welding Institute located in Pottsville, Ark., visited the RHS campus on Wednesday, Feb. 21. He shared some interesting information about the school, including the fact that it is one of the few welding schools owned and operated by a Certified Welding Inspector, and it offers free lifetime brush-up opportunities and lifetime job placement assistance for alumni of the school. In terms of requirements for success at the school, he emphatically stated,“Three things I require to be successful at our school are a good work ethic, dependability, and a good attitude.” He further commented, “Nobody hinders your success but you. Your success is my success.” RHS Career Coach Kathy Fowler stated,“Students thoroughly enjoyed Jeremiah’s presentation. This was his first visit to the City of Rector and to RHS. We look forward to having him back next school year.” (Courtesy photo)
